IX. Maintenance

IX. Maintenance

If The Process is to be followed, then there must be maintenance.

To keep our work efficient, we must be vigilant and perform regular and periodic maintenance.

This is for our tools. Blades should be sharpened; glue and pitch cleaned off; tool surfaces waxed down; belts inspected and replaced; bearings and mechanisms lubed; reference surfaces leveled and squared. This is for our work spaces. Work surfaces dusted off; floors swept; piles sorted and put away. This is for our consumable inventory. Stock should be kept organized. Low or out of stock should be reordered.
